I’ve designed a Saas solution to make quality control inside Hermes warehouse error proof using Datakeen’s AI technology

Datakeen offers a service that is able to obtain useful data from videos and pictures in real-time.
I have facilitated the development of an app for Quality Control workers that can scan through the inventory, identifying any errors such as labelling and placement, alerting personnel and providing a resolution to the issue.
Research
For every project, I start with three workshops in order
for me to understand :
- Users and their needs
- Content and company strategy
- Expectations (flows, features,…)
Learnings
Quality control operators are walking around the warehouse, visiting various stations to conduct controls. To make this process easier, we decided to provide them with tablets fastened to their wrists so they can utilize our tool for every inspection.
Goals
Hiris is the name of the solution I’ve designed with Hermes and Datakeen teams.
The app running on IPad air is mainly used to :
- Scan product trays with the camera
- Detect any errors on trays
- Give solutions to resolve the error
- Follow up the activity in the warehouse
- Verify specific orders from partners (Apple,…) & shops
